Project Type: Crèche Upgrading
Project Description: Before Ikhayalami's engagement, Masikhule Creche suffered from many of the unfortunate but familiar problems of informal settlements: frequent flooding during the rainy season, inadequate toilet facilities, and an unsafe, unstable structure. After removing the previous structure, Ikhayalami built an upgraded, fire and flood resistant creche, along with a toilet at the back of the structure.
